Responsible for test & analyzing variety of samples, specimens, products, materials for chemical composition or presence of specific substances. Follow standardized analytical procedures. Collect, synthesize, analyze, manage & report environmental data, determine validity quality & scientific significance. Maintenance of laboratory to meet QA/QC procedure. Maintain records, prepares reports, correspondence related to work, review environmental technical standards, guidelines, policies & formal regulations that meet all appropriate requirements. Carry out analysis of samples to ensure quality. Report findings to QC Manager. Responsible for ensuring safe & efficient daily operations. Review published literature to identify new techniques & procedures to apply to the problems brought to the attention of the Laboratory. Selection of equipment, material & instruments. Calibration, maintenance, performance, & documentation of instruments & equipments. Establishing priorities, coordinating activities, train new laboratory personnel. Perform housekeeping to assure the laboratory is continously maintained in a safe & orderly condition. 6 months work exp in EPA waste water parameters testing, corrosion analysis, MS Windows Vista (Business), XP (Pro), 2K, 9x, Linux, Microsoft Office, Matlab, C/C++, Visual Basic, Visio, MS Project, Smartdraw.
